How to review the Unit roster and your Household
Use the Unit roster to check who belongs to the current Unit and which roles or Groups they have. Use Household to check the parents, guardians, and Youth in your family context and whether each person has a linked Woggle account.
Choose the view that matches the question
Section titled “Choose the view that matches the question”| Open | Use it to check |
|---|---|
| Unit roster | Unit membership, adult or Youth type, Unit roles, Groups, and pending Invites |
| Household | Parents/Guardians, Youth profiles, and whether each person has a linked account |
| Join requests | A person’s pending request for Unit access, a role, or Groups |
1. Check the Unit roster
Section titled “1. Check the Unit roster”Open More, then select Unit roster. The All view groups members by Household when that context is available. Use Adults, Youth, or Leaders to narrow the list, or search for a member by name.
Open a member to check their Unit roles, Groups, and membership status. A Unit Admin with the required permissions can also see controls such as Edit roles, Edit groups, Resend invite, or Remove from unit.

The All view keeps Unit membership and Household context together while the filters provide a faster role-based check.
2. Check your Household
Section titled “2. Check your Household”Open More, then select Household. Parents and guardians appear separately from Youth. Each row also shows whether the person has a Woggle account linked to their profile.
A Household Guardian can select Add parent or Add youth, open a profile, and correct eligible Household details. Household membership is separate from Unit membership, so adding someone to a Household does not by itself add them to a Unit.

Household shows family relationships and account-link state without replacing the Unit roster.
3. Read account and Invite status
Section titled “3. Read account and Invite status”| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Account linked | The member profile is connected to a Woggle sign-in. |
| Invite pending | An adult account invitation was sent, but the account is not linked yet. |
| No account | The profile exists without a linked sign-in. This can be expected for a Youth whose Guardian responds for them. |
These labels describe account linking. They do not confirm Unit access on their own. Check the Unit roster for active Unit membership and the member detail for a pending Invite.
Before the first RSVP, confirm that the expected parents, guardians, and Youth appear in Household. A Parent/Guardian can respond for visible Household Youth even when a Youth does not have a linked account.
4. Review a pending join request
Section titled “4. Review a pending join request”Unit Admins can open Review join requests from Home when a request needs attention, or open More and select Join requests. Review the applicant, Household summary, requested role, requested Groups, and message against information your Unit already trusts.
Select Approve only after the person and requested access are verified. Select Reject when the request should not proceed; Woggle lets you add an optional review note. A requested Leader role requires Unit Admin authorization.

The pending request keeps the requested access beside the approval decision.
5. Correct a missing or wrong record safely
Section titled “5. Correct a missing or wrong record safely”| Problem | Safe next step |
|---|---|
| A Unit role or Group is wrong | Ask a Unit Admin to verify the member, then use the member detail controls available to their role. |
| A Household member or Youth profile is wrong | Ask a Household Guardian to verify the person before editing, adding, or removing a record. |
| An Invite is still pending | Open the member detail and use Resend invite when available. Confirm the destination before resending. |
| Two records may be duplicates | Do not remove either record until the active account, Invite, Unit membership, and Household link are confirmed. |
| A join request is unexpected | Leave it unapproved while the Unit verifies the requester through an established contact. |
| The question involves custody, private contact details, or another sensitive family matter | Keep the details out of Unit messages and join-request notes. Follow your organization’s established process or contact Woggle support. |
Removing someone from a Unit roster removes that Unit membership and its Unit roles and Groups. It does not serve as a general Household correction. Household removal also has safeguards, including restrictions when a Youth still has Unit memberships or a linked account.
After a correction, refresh both Unit roster and Household. If the expected family members still do not appear for an Event, correct the membership context before entering the RSVP.
