How do I check or change my Household’s guardians?

Household guardians manage family details such as the Household name, youth profiles, and invitations. A Unit Admin role alone does not grant permission to manage another family’s Household.

1. Check the account and family

Sign in as yourself and open More → Household. Confirm that you are looking at your family. If the family is wrong or missing unexpectedly, ask for help with the connection instead of setting up a second Household.

2. Add another guardian when appropriate

Use How do I invite an adult into my Household? to add another parent and connect their account. An unused adult profile cannot sign in to manage the family.

If the adult already has an account in another Household, ask a Unit Admin to check Add to a household before adding a profile. Move without matching can use their existing account without creating an unused duplicate.

3. Get help with a primary-guardian change

There is no self-service Change primary guardian action in the current Household screens. Contact Support if the primary designation needs to change. Ordinary Household management permission comes from being a Household guardian, not just from the primary designation.

Explain the intended change without deleting or recreating profiles. If a guardian can no longer sign in, resolve the account access problem with Support.

4. Review before removing a guardian

Follow Household removal and read every access consequence. Woggle blocks removal of the last guardian with an account while active youth participation still requires that guardian. Adding an adult profile without connecting an account does not resolve that condition.
